The Men’s Member-Guest Invitational

August 10th, 11th, and 12th

You are cordially invited to participate in the 2017 Member-Guest Invitational at the Golf Club at Blue Heron Hills.  This year’s event will be played as 2-man BestBall at 90% handicap. The format is Match play, with five nine-hole matches against each of the other five teams in your respective flights.  The winners of each flight will qualify for the tournament ending Shoot Out and overall Member-Guest title.  Our event field is limited to the first 36 teams.  We are excited about this format and hope you will enjoy the competition.

Wednesday, August 9th, 2017

  • Optional 18-hole Practice Round (Schedule Tee Time)
  • 2 man 100% handicap best ball format Sweeps $10.00 per team

Thursday, August 10th, 2017

  • 7:00 to 10:00 am – optional 9-hole practice round (Schedule Tee Time)
  • 9:00 a.m. – Practice Range open for warm-up
  • 11:30 a.m. – Registration open, Tee gifts, side action and team buy-in
  • 12:00 p.m. – Deli style lunch in the pub
  • 1:30 p.m. – Round #1 Shotgun start
  • 5:30 p.m. – Heavy Hors D’oeuvres, cash bar Upstairs Ballroom

Friday, August 11th, 2017

  • 8:00-9:45 a.m. – Tee Gift and Range open
  • 10:00 a.m. – Round #2 Shotgun start
  • 12:30 a.m. Lunch on Lower Patio Burgers/Hot Dogs/Sausage
  • 1:30 p.m. – Round #3 Shotgun
  • 4:00 p.m. – Cash Bar cocktail hour & light appetizers

Saturday, August 12th, 2017

  • 8:00 a.m.  – Tee Gift and Range open
  • 9:00 a.m. Round #4 Shotgun start
  • 11:30 a.m. – Lunch Wraps, chips & cookies on Lower Patio
  • 12:30 p.m. – Round #5 Shotgun start
  • 3:30 p.m. – Playoff Shoot Out with Flight Winners
  • 6:00 p.m. – Cash Bar Upstairs Ballroom
  • 7:00 p.m. – Dinner and Awards Upstairs Ballroom (Country Club casual)
    Dinner: Prime Rib/Chicken French/Lemon Pepper Tilapia

Tournament Notes:

  • All contestants in the field will be playing at 90% Handicap
  • All play from blue tees UNLESS Players whose age (as of 6/1/17) plus Double Digit handicap is equal to or greater than 80 will have the option to play from the white tees. All white tee players will have a USGA stroke differential applied when playing against a blue tee competitor.
  • Flights will be based on the teams combined handicap
  • Scoring-> Each Nine-hole match will be worth a total of 9 points
    • Each hole is worth 1 point, tied holes are worth ½ point
  • The Shoot Out will be scored in combined 2-man Net Best Ball at 90% Handicap
    • Shots to fall on the holes used for the Shoot Out #10 and #18

TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE:

$550.00 / Team

Entry includes: Gifts for the Member and his Guest, Guest Fees, Meals, Flight Prizes,

Overall Champions Trophy. (Optional – $100 Net Skins Game per flight & $100 Pari-mutuel Team Purse)
